One of the questions most commonly asked is why do I need a maintenance program on my poured in place surfacing? The quick answer is that a good maintenance program is guaranteed to extend the life of your surfacing, thereby protecting your investment. Your surface looks new and clean, and stays protected against the sun's destructive UV rays. However, tears and cracks in the surface could result in falls and injuries. To help keep your kids safe and your surface in excellent condition, we offer multiple maintenance options.  

The number one choice we recommend for all poured in place surfaces, over a year old, is the Roll Coat Application. It rolls on clear, strengthening and bonding the wear course layer.  This will extend the life span and also protect the surface against UV rays.

Description	Application	Value
Roll Coat	Based on the color and scope of the project, this rolled on application will use an aliphatic or aromatic urethane. Recommended for use every 12-18 months.	This revolutionary system is rolled on clear, and is quick to dry.  The wear course layer will be UV protected and rejuvenated which will assist in reducing future costly repairs and help to prevent holes, cracks and granulation.
Repair (with Design)	Choose from a variety of shapes and colors to repair holes or tears in the surface.	Instead of putting in a new surface, we can easily fix the problem with a fun shape or design.
Re-Top	Damaged rubber is removed and a new wear course layer is applied  directly over the existing wear course.	The most cost effective method of repairing a surface without needing a complete replacement of the system.
Remove & Replace	Required when surface is old and beyond repair, has not had quality maintenance care or was installed improperly.	This option is for pads that need to be completely replaced.  The original surface is removed and replaced with new cushion and wear course layers.
TotTurf® Repair Kit (Order Form) (Instructions)	Our repair kit includes wear course granules, urethane, a trowel and instructions on how to patch small holes or tears in your surfacing.	For small, simple repairs it is not always necessary for a Robertson Industries crew to come to your site. Having a repair kit on hand allows you to have a flawless surface at all times.
